I paid for my grandmothers medicine because, she could not afford it. Although, I have a big family of my own and divorced, I knew God would make a way for me to lend a hand. I love my nana, she's all I had after I lost both of my parents at an young age. Lord bless her, and all of you who help others as we would like to be helped. This is an amazing site, I LOVE IT!!!
I brushed the snow off my roomates car this morning instead of just my own.

Today I was extra kind to my neighbors and those around me. ...having greater integrity and being helpful to those in need.
I helped a older couple by becoming there care hovers for free I do not know these people but when I heard there add for help I came the next day. The man is half blind and his wife is hospice. I feel like I was giving a sign and I am blessed with the stories the husband tells me. I know people would ask for money but I lost my grandparents so I feel I can adopt them to becoming my own as if they never past

I was at the Affton Schnucks store shopping and over heard a younf lady on the her cell phone. She was very upset. She was about an hour away from her home with her 2 children. She was very upset and trying to call someone to help her. She had taken the children to eat and had lost her debit card which she was going to use to get gas. This was on a Sunday and the banks were not open. She had no cash on her and did'nt know how she would get home. Her gas tank was near empty. She had tried to reach family to help her but nobody would help her. She was crying. I started to go pass her, but a little voice inside said help her.So I went up to her and said I overheard your conversation and I'd like to help you. I didn't have any cash on me either. So I told her to wait here and I'd be back. I went to the bank and got her $20.00 for gas. We hugged and I told her that God loves her and he's watching over her. She was so happy that someone cared.
Donating a bunch of furniture and housewares to people in need, instead of selling it.

I friended someone of another friend; whom is very intelligent, humble, kind, and loving for others. He's turning away from those who aren't living in kindness of other people. He's now a friend of mine. Positive energy is best when there is another hand to join in.

I made a resolution to make a difference in 2011 and help people. I own my own hair business, and signed up for Locks of Love, and also offered cancer patients free haircuts when their hair starts to thin from radiantion treatment, so they didn't have to shave it off right away. I also started volunteering for the National MS Society and the American Cancer Society.

It would be great if a group would help the disabled & elderly with spring & fall help such as get hose out/put away, rake leaves, etc. I am saying this for personally I have been fighting leukemia for 17 years & my only income is disability, which translates to I simply cannot afford to hire it done. I always kept my yard nice and well manicured but I no longer have the stamina to do that & I have no one to help me. Just a few hours and some young, friendly people would go a long way. Thanks
