I gave 800 paintballs to a family celebrating a boy's birthday party at my paintball field.

Today is my 5 year old's birthday & he wanted Burger King. When I told him I didn't have any money he told me to use the $10 he got from a family member to buy lunch for me, him, his brother & the little girl I watch.

A mother and daughter in a "McDonalds" line. The cashier gave the total. The Mother was .25 short. She got anxious and told her daughter to run to the car and search for a quarter. I stopped her and just handed her a quarter. My son was watching this go down and when we got back to the car he said "Dad, did you see the look on her face when you gave her a quarter?" She was so grateful.

Today I gave my co-worker a breakfast bagel sandwich for always fielding my "I'm running late!" phone calls so I don't get in trouble with the boss :)

I gave a homeless guy on the corner a few bucks -- my last cash til payday. I also gave someone a chance. I helped someone else jump off their car. I helped my daughter pay for college. I find joy in helping others; I find pain in those that suffer.

I gave $5 to a local homeless man who is struggling with cancer.

I helped a blind man navigate his way on the sidewalk where they are doing construction where i work.

I have been helping my sister, who is visiting from out of town, by babysitting.

I babysat my niece and nephew for my sister after she had surgery.

This isn't so much a good deed of mine, but someone else's: This morning the toll worker I see every day paid the toll for me, just because!!

I look out for a local man who is not homeless but lives in a shelter. He has some issues but I talk with him a lot and make sure all of his basic needs are covered. He writes me notes thanking me for being his friend. I had no idea that just listening to him and asking about his doctors appointments and if he has had enough to eat meant so much. I thought he had been around on the streets for a long time. I ran into someone yesterday who told me he has been in Richmond for 32 years.

I suprised my mom with a cup of her favorite coffee.

Once a week(yes I go 5 times) I pay for the car behind me at Chic Fil A!
